Ingredients for Karkidaka Kanji
Following are the list of ingredients added for the preparation of Karkidaka Kanji:-
Navarra rice - 1/2 cup
Broken wheat -2 tablespoons
Whole mung beans - 2 tablespoons
Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
Cow's milk - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Salt- 1 tablespoon
Onions - 2
Nutmeg- 1 tablespoon

Method to Prepare Karkidaka Kanji
Add first three ingredients to boiled water and wait till the ingredients are cooked.
Now, add cow's milk to preparation and allow it to cook in low heat.
Add jaggery, salt and other ingredients to preparation.
Wait for a few minutes time and then take out the preparation from heat. Traditional ayurvedic Karkidaka Kaji is now ready to serve.
