In a do-or-die match, the Mollywood celebrity team AMMA's Kerala Strikers is taking on the Bengal Tigers on 4th February, Saturday. Both are the debutant teams of the Celebrity Cricket League. Kerala Strikers, who was beaten by Telugu Warriors in last match have to win the remaining two matches to liven the Semi final hopes. In 3 matches played, Kerala Strikers could manage to win only one match. They defeated Mumbai Heroes whereas lost to Chennai Rhinos and Telugu Warriors. Karnataka Bulldozers are the opponents of them in the final league match.
On the other side, the Bengal Tigers are also in similar situation as well. They are lying at the bottom of the CCL points table with 2 points. Kerala Strikers are the team right above them. The Tigers' lone win was against the Chennai Rhinos. So it will be a match between the bottom liners for survival. Both teams are looking desperately for a win and it will make the match more intense.
The Bengal Team is led by Bengali star Jeet. Strikers captain Mohanlal had not played the last match. He is expected to make a return in the next one. It was Rajiv Pillai who led the team in absence of Mohanlal. Rajiv is the one player who has done best for the Strikers. He scored a match winning fifty against Mumbai Heroes. Nivin Pauly, Bineesh Kodiyeri, Saiju Kurup are the other hopes of the Mollywood team. Captain Mohanlal haven't been able to put up a performance up to the expectations so far. The fans are expecting him to fire in the upcoming games.
