Early Life
Sana Althaf was born on June 6, 1999 to a Muslim family settled in Kochi, Kerala. She had her elementary schooling at a local school near her house. Later, she completed her schooling from Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya in the commercial capital of Kerala. She hopes to continue her studies taking commerce stream along with her other assignments in the tinsel town. Apart from the studies, she is finding time to practice Karate at home with her father. She proudly claims that she is a Black Belt holder in Karate. In the past, she has also anchored the TV shows aired by popular television channels of the state.

Once Sana Althaf told the interviewing scribe that she never wanted to be an actor. She further added that she was very much contented with what was she doing in martial arts, dancing and literary fields. She rather wanted to build her career in any one of these lines. She has been passionate about dance since her childhood. That is the reason her parents trained her in some of the classical dance forms that she is comfortable with. She has even appeared at the state level school festivals representing her school and brought laurels to it. She used to take part in recitation and elocution competitions at the school and district levels, and won appreciations for her performances. Through such participations and constant reading, she had acquired a good vocabulary and command over the English and Malayalam languages.
