The commercial hit director Lal presents his new upcoming film 'Tournament' which is ready to release on 25th December. The actor cum director lal is on a successful ride with the complete success of 2 Harihar Nagar and 'Ghost House Inn''. The unusual thing in this film is the emergence of a group of new comers. He is taking risks by presenting a bunch of youngsters in the lead roles including eight boys and one girl in his new Malayalam film Tournament which says a story of the youngster's journey and the events happening on their way. Lal is also having other roles in this film of distributer, story writer and producer by sharing with PNV Menon. The film reaches in theaters under the banner of Lal Creations. The director Lal himself has written the story of the film and the experienced hands of Senior Cameraman Venu has been moved the camera for this film. Depak dev has given the music of five songs which is written by Vayalar Sarathchandra. Tournament is the first film of Deepak with Lal. After Puthiya Mugham, Deepak Dev has done a tremendous work in this film's songs. Tournament is a youth movie in which acting Fahad Fazil (Shanu) , Praveen, Manu and Roopa in the lead roles. Fahad Fazil better known Shanu, who is the son of famous senior top director Fazil, is playing in main role. He was already proved his ability as an actor in Malayalam film field in Fazil's film "Kayyethum doorath" and recent film Kerala café. Another important role is doing by manish, who is debuting in this film. The other boys are new comers except john who has acted in some films. The heroine is Rupa Manjari who has finished her first film in Kollywood as heroine in the romantic comedy film Thiru thiru thuru thuru. Tournament depicts the story of six youth cricketers Viswam, Usman, Balu, Bobby, Chilambu and Subu, who are selected in the Kochi IPL team to play the tournament in Bangalore. Their friend, Aswathy who is a wild life photographer, also joins with them. Unfortunately they missed their flight to Bangalore and they planned to go by road. The story progresses with the events which are happening on their way to Bangalore.Best parts in Tournament
The main highlight of this film is its director Lal itself who is in the winning path of In Harihar Nagar series. The best part is the appearance of actress Rupa Manjari who is playing a lead character in this film as a wild photographer. She has got a beautiful chance here to start in Malayalam.
