Samvritha Sunil, also known as Samvritha, who represents the youth icon of Malayalam film industry was born on 31 Octoer, 1986. Her native place is Kannur, Kerala, and studied in St Theresa's School, Kannur. Presently pursuing her Masters, it has been heard that she would have chosen journalism as her career if not for film. She has also mastered in the art of Bharathnatyam, and has done several stage shows, including a stage show called "Swaralayam" which was directed by late writer/director Lohithadas. Her favorite actress in Malayalam movies includes Shobhana and Manju Warrior.Acting Life
Samvritha's acting career began in 2004, with the lead role in Rasikan, directed by Lal Jose and opposite Dileep. However, she was considered for the role of Balamani in the film Nandanam. But since the shooting was during her exams she had to drop it. The next year brought in two movies for her Nerariyan CBI and Chandrolsavam. 
However her presence was felt most as Sherly in Achanurangatha Veedu, directed by Lal Jose in 2005. Her song in Nottam the next year, was a catchy number as far as she was concerned, which was picturised well. Almost all of her movies are super hits, and she has been well remembered for them. A few of them include Moonamathoral, Hello, Arabikatha, Chocolate etc. She has also acted in a Tamil and Telugu movie, namely, Uyir and Evadithe Naakenti.
