Early Life and Education
Esther Anil was born on August 27, 2001 to a well-to-do Christian family in the Wayanad district of north Kerala. Her father's name is Anil Abraham and mother's name is Manju Anil. Her parents are running a Homestay business from their home Buena Vista in the Wayanad landscape. She had her formal education from a reputed school near her house. After the formal education was over, her parents enrolled her in De Paul Public School in Kalpetta, the headquarters of Wayanad district of the northern Kerala. She has two younger brothers. Their names are Evan and Eric. Evan is studying in 7th standard whereas the youngest brother Eric is in 2nd standard. In the midst of her busy schedules, she rushes to her home for staying with her family, especially her younger brothers.
Tryst with Destiny
Esther Anil's aunt Bonny Mol was the first runner up in a reality show titled Best Citizen Journalist. This reality show is a much acclaimed program aired at the prime time on Amritha Channel, a popular television channel in the state of Kerala. Beena Mol was keen that her sister Manju Anil should get her cooking talent recognized by the state. Hence, she persuaded her sister to appear for an audition test to participate in a program titled the Taste of Kerala. With this thing in mind, Esther Anil's mother Manju Anil participated in the audition test and cleared it.
After this, she was asked to prepare a recipe before the Television crew. For this purpose, the television crew of the local television network visited her house. When the team was visiting the house of Esther Anil at Wayanad to shoot the cookery show of her mother, the camera man Biju Pazavila happened to look beyond the scope of his work and saw her playing in the courtyard of the house with her younger siblings. After looking at the vivacious young girl, he decided that she was a material for the screen. He spoke to the girl's parents about his view and his impression about the girl. With their consent, he introduced her to R. Vivek, a freelance photographer he knew of. The freelancer was also equally impressed about the girl. Hence, he in turn prepared her portfolio free of cost. The lively shots of the smart young girl were finally given to the big tickets in the Malayalam movie industry.
Early Stint in the Malayalam Film Industry
The vivacious young Esther Anil made her acting debut as a child actor in the movie Nallavan. This film had hit the screen in the year 2010. In this film, she co-starred with Jayasurya, Siddique, Mythili and Sudheesh. This film was directed by Aji John and produced by Anil Mathew and S. Murukan. This film did not make much impact at the box office of the state. Her second film was Orunal Varum. She acted alongside megastar Mohan Lal and Sameeera Reddy in this movie. Other artists such as Sreenivasan, Devayani and Nazariya Nazeem also shared the silver screen with her. This film was directed by T.K. Rajeev Kumar. The film was produced by noted movie actor Maniyanpilla Raju. In this film, she acted as a daughter of Mohanalal and Sameera Reddy. This film had a reasonably good following in theatres across the state.
The Esther Anil's third film was Sakudumbam Shyamala. In this film, she acted alongside Urvashi, Suraj Venjaranmoodu, Jayasurya, Bhama, and Saikumar. This movie saw the little girl enacting the childhood of Urvashi. This film was directed by Radhakrishnan Mangalath and produced by S. Gopakumar. In the next movie Metro, she appeared as the daughter of Suraj Venjaranmoodu. Of these films, Drishyam was a huge hit at the box office, drawing huge crowds to theatres across the state. In this movie, she acted alongside megastar Mohanlal, veteran actress Meena, a newcomer Ansiba Hassan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Asha Sharath and Siddique. Esther Anil enacted the role of the daughter of Mohanlal and Meena in this movie. This super hit film was written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. The producer of the movie was Antony Perumbavoor.
In the same year, she was fortunate enough to act with the other megastar Mammootty in the movie titled Kunjandente Kada. The other artists alongside whom she acted include Nyla Usha, Balachandra Menon, and Salim Kumar. This film was written and directed by Salim Ahamed. Esther Anil is an upcoming child actor in the Malayalam movie industry. She made her debut in the film industry at the tender age of 8 years when she acted in the movie Nallavan.
